Statutory requirement in Hong Kong

Hong Kong Companies Ordinance regulates each limited liability company to appoint an auditor to carry out an audit annually.  Shareholders need to approve the auditors’ report and audited financial statements at annual general meeting to comply with the Companies Ordinance.
